It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, or maybe that’s just me???

We can now do direct deposit of tax refunds on Form 1040X, Amended Return.

Don’t believe me, think it’s too good to be true?

News release here from IRS.

  • To get this option to show up in your tax software, you may need to run an update of the program to get the latest version.
  • Not all tax software programs have this brand new option included.

Speaking of tax software, we have only a few remaining licenses available for our two exclusive tax software + training + support packages, so if you or someone you know needs tax software for this tax season, now’s the time to grab the deal before they’re gone, and please note that BOTH of our exclusive packages do include the brand new 1040X direct deposit option:

  1. Click here to see the 1040 Software + Training + Support Package — our recommended choice for tax pros who handle all 1040s (package includes Schedule C, Schedule E, and all states.)  For those who need or want a payment plan, that’s here.
  2. Click here to see the “All-in-One” Software + Training + Support Package — our recommended choice for tax pros who handle 1040s and also want to be able to prepare corporation, S corporation, partnership, estate / trust, and non-profit tax returns at no extra cost.  For those who want or need a payment plan, that’s here.

REMINDER that Dream Team Members receive an additional 25% discount on the tax software packages, so if you’re currently in or decide to join the Dream Team, please remember to use your discount when you get your software package.
