Time
Well the minimum amount of time according to using the online courses from Pronto Tax School would be about three days tops!

Yes, just 72 hours to become a certified tax preparer!
This is great when considering fast employment or meeting deadlines for certification depending on if you are trying to get a job at a tax office or not.
Own Pace
Despite the minimum amount of time on record is three days, Pronto Tax School’s courses are developed so you can complete them at your own pace.

You can take as long as you want especially if you are working other jobs, might be a student in school, or have other priorities that needs your time away from completing the tax preparer certification.
It is a good idea when taking any tax course to take your time so you can really understand the material, which means you’ll be more prepared when you have finally gotten certified.
Segments/Modules
Some tax courses take a lot of time when trying to get through segments or modules.
Pronto Tax School’s modules only take 30 minutes to an hour which is actually a pretty fair deal considering you are learning about taxes!

These modules are set up to be paused or saved so you can come back to them whenever you need.
Depending on the Job
When considering how much time you might spend on becoming a tax preparer there are a few things that effect how fast someone might complete it.
If you are a tax professional just getting your re-certification you already understand taxes so you will probably get through the course quickly.

If you are new to the tax preparer life then you will take more time so you understand everything, but still decently fast if you are in line for a job that has a deadline like I have mentioned above.
If you are self- employed then you might go at a steady or urgent pace depending on how your life is going.
