Advanced Tax Preparation

Typical to our Tuesday afternoon session, today we will focus on the somewhat more advanced tax preparation topics of Alternative Minimum Tax, Passive Activity Loss Limitations, and assorted other ways that the tax code attempts to deny higher-income taxpayers certain tax benefits. Frequently, as you work with higher income taxpayers, you will encounter these “roadblocks” that are set up to cause the higher-income taxpayer to lose tax benefits. Your clients will look to you to navigate these waters. Will you be ready? Once you’ve taken this class you will be up to the task.
